A new building in modular construction was created for Swisslog in Aarau. Our team was involved in the site analysis and all strategic location search questions from 2022 and accompanied the development of the new working environment up to its realization after the decision for the new building.
A highlight of the building is the atrium with seating steps, which provides space for exchange, collaboration, and town hall meetings. It connects the 3rd floor with the spacious cafeteria and the two outdoor terraces on the 4th floor. The three standard floors are organized into home bases and offer different zones for interaction, focus, meetings, and traditional workplace tasks. On the ground floor, an inviting reception welcomes guests. Additionally, the blue-collar areas with shipping, workshops, showers, and ancillary rooms were integrated into the concept.
